Orvieto City Map

The city of Orvieto is located in the province of Terni within the Italian Region of Umbria.  It is 4.5 km from the A1 Motorway that runs between Florence and Rome.

Rome is located 1 hour south of Orvieto by car and 1 hour 40 minutes north of Florence.  Consequently, Orvieto is a great place to visit when travelling between these two large cities.

Orvieto is situated on a hilltop overlooking a picturesque valley.  The Paglia and Chiani rivers flow through that valley.

The city has a population on 21,000 people.
