Orvieto Underground

The Orvieto Underground is a network of caves and tunnels that were built below the city of Orvieto.  The labyrinth was constructed gradually over a period of some 2500 years.

Tickets to tour the Orvieto Underground town can be purchased at the tourist information office located on Piazza Duomo, across from the Cathedral.  The entrance to the caves is just 5 minutes away.
